Christopher Yang is a research faculty member at the Institute of Transportation Studies at UC Davis.  He studies energy and environmental aspects associated with new vehicle and fuel technologies in transportation, with a focus on hydrogen as well as electric vehicles. He is particularly interested in the interface between these emerging vehicle fuels and other parts of the energy sector, especially the electricity system.
